President’s Message
Merry Christmas Everyone!!
I hope that everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving and is ready (or getting ready) for Christmas. I also hope that the weather will be more cooperative this year and allow more of us to attend our Christmas party. Neil and I seem to hit about every other year and since we missed last year, I’m thinking we will make it this time. I hope to see you there, too.

- Back Country Horsemen does not mean that all our members have to be backcountry packers. Although we have a number of members who pack with horses and mules, it is a matter of fact that most of our members do not pack, but are day riders who either camp at the trail head or drive in for a day ride. Back Country Packers front country riders or any horse enthusiasts who agrees that public lands should remain open to the recreational use of stock is welcome in our organization.
